Siguindiendo a la area recreativa de los Quejijales, antes de llegar, a unos pocos kilometros, sale un camino hacia la derecha direccion tolox. A un par de kms sale un sendero a la derecha que te lleva a la escalereta un pinsapo centenario. Es un sendero que se hace mejor andando y ademas es suave, a la sombra del arbol, direccion norte se encontraras el cache. Buena suerte y espero que os guste.

After a lovely walk we arrived at the tree and were happy to see that our new GPS gave excellent readings. So we went straight to the spot...and searched...and searched...and searched but we found nothing. I am sure we had the co-ordinates right so I think a hint would be useful or for someone to check that the co-ordinates are in fact correct. Nevertheless we will try again shortly. The area is beautiful and we continued on with the lovely walk towards the Nacimiento del Rio Verde (itinerary 9 in the excellent booklet about Sierra de las Nieves)

Didn't manage to find this though the snow all around was no help. Very cold but a beautiful day and we enjoyed the drive and the walk. The tree cover, even in winter, is so heavy that it was impossible to get an accurate fix therefore it was another needle in a haystack job which was nearly impossible.
Maybe in the warmth of summer but we spent an hour and no luck!

We started our trip in Tolox, a long, slow and splendid excursion throught the Sierra de Nieves. After an hour searching at the place where we disturbed millions insects, we gave up. We caught our back packs and while we walked back, called the old bird (vogeltjes=little birds) suddenly I see him. And indeed, there is its shelter, 25 meters from the spot where we searched and not further than 7 meters from the tribe.

We tried to find about half an hour with Dori, but We couldn't. The tree, and the place is beautyful!

We couldn't find it, but it's a very nice place and tree. It could be good place for a regular cache.

No hemos encontrado, pero la paisaje y el arbol es vale la pena. Es podría ser un buno sitio para una caja normal.
