On a weeks holiday with 7 old mates from scouts (40+ years ago!!). The other 7 are completely hooked on golf and cannot unerstand why on earth I would rather only play a couple of times, and "waste good golfing opportunities" by going caching. The whole week was taken up with their laughing at this collectively, but asking more questions about caching privately. Ah well, I enjoyed a good cache fest in the sun anyway.

This was to be the last cache of the holiday, and what a great one it was, definitely the best location and container. I parked just off the slip road, and followed a dusty track. It was about 3-4 km long. Very hot, glad i had a bottle with me. Completely silent, the only noises being the crickets and a faint breeze. I passed several places where I could have driven and parked, the closest being about half a km away from GZ.

The cache itself is a nice wooden box which is pretty well hidden, even with the clue. Got a lift partway back to the car in a local's van. Very welcome!!
