After spending a whole week here in Sitio de Calahonde, it was time to check the nearest cache.

I found it together with Madammen and our son.
The fountain was really nice and as other people have mentioned, it deserves a better place.

On a weeks holiday with 7 old mates from scouts (40+ years ago!!). The other 7 are completely hooked on golf and cannot unerstand why on earth I would rather only play a couple of times, and "waste good golfing opportunities" by going caching. The whole week was taken up with their laughing at this collectively, but asking more questions about caching privately. Ah well, I enjoyed a good cache fest in the sun anyway.

This was probably one of the easier finds (for which I was grateful). Its a nice piece of are that deserves to be better located.

My kids loved the photo on my return home.

Very cool cache, my brother had already found it so gave us clues in the right direction. Beautiful fountain, magic view of the coastline in the distance. Traffic very hectic and as we from South Africa, cars wizzing by on the wrong side of the road for us lol...

Thanx for bringing us to this awesome fountain which is just up the road from our accommodation. Was a bit lost as wondered how I would have GPS signal in the tunnel but then it struck me.... =)

A very easy ache and a nice idea for a fountain! But geo_tom and me were surprised that we had to pay toll both when leaving the highway for getting to the cache and when entering it again for continuing our way to the airport... Anyway, thanks for this nice cache!
