The co-ordinates are for a point near the entrance to the Abbey. You will need to find an information board which gives you the information required to find the cache. More than 2 years after our first attempt (the cache had disappeared in works along the canal), a new visit at the abbey of Timadeuc with an exhibition of wood marquetry from Jacques Moisan (his workshop is not very far, in Gasde Bois N48 05.215 W2 38.867). A good opportunity to try this cache again : the coordinates are easily calculated, the walk to the location is nice but the final was protected by stinging nettle! Thanks

Nous étions déjà passé il y a plus de deux ans mais la précédente cache avait disparu à l'occasion de travaux le long du chemin de halage. Cette fois ci, la seule difficulté fut la présence de nombreuses orties (mais leur contact est excellent paraît-il pour la circulation du sang!). Merci pour cette cache trouvée à l'occasion d'une visite dans le coin qui a été aussi l'occasion d'admirer les tableaux en marqueterie de Jacques Moisan : il expose à l'abbaye de Timadeuc et dans son atelier à Gas de Bois à quelques kilomètres de là (N48 05.215 W2 38.867).

Au cours de notre tour à vélo de Croisic à Châteaulin en passant par Nantes, puis suivant le Canal de Nantes à Brest, nous avons découvert cette jolie cache. Un grand merci! La Bretagne est merveilleuse.

After visiting the abbey shop that have a lot of interesting items, a nice walk past the farm and down to the canal towpath. The area has just been modified, no more trees and nowhere to hide a cache! Nice and quiet place however.

Après un visite du magasin de l'abbaye qui recèle de nombreuses choses intéressantes, tant culturelles que gustatives, descente le long de la ferme jusqu'au chemin de halage. Des travaux d'aménagement semblent avoir fortement modifié les parages et les souches qui restent ne semblent pas propices à une cache. Belle promenade toutefois en une belle après-midi d'hiver.
