I'm very sorry, but I saw what is still left from the cache. It has been vanish and someone put fire on it.
I saw the plastic box melted.
Sorry. The place seems to not to be a good one.

We have found a couple of nice spots to hide the cache in the area but we didn't manage to found the cache

When we came here, first we could not find the entrace to the castle. Fortunately we met a man, who told us, where it is – but it was locked. So we went in the nice church, where we were told that the clergyman has the key, but he was busy with the confessions before Eastern. Before we gave up, another man could organize the key for us – so almost the whole town was busy for us!
In the castle searched about 30 minutes in every crevice – but no cache. Then we gave up, because a very old woman entered the scene, who described us all the miracles Jesus Christ did at this place. She broke all her bones and was healed only by the power of god!
Thank you for showing us this place and the interesting people in this village. At the car we read that the cache is not inside the castle, but at the foot ... some day we will come back and find the cache!

My find number 1600! Despite having been to Ardales many times before (usually by running here from El Chorro), I had never seen this very nice place. The weather today was quite bad, but the view was still pleasant. Took a geocoin and some coins that I thought were geocoins wanting to travel - but a friend from Granada later explained to me that this was not the case. Thanks for the cache!

MAGNIFICO LUGAR
Despues de comprobar que los embalses estan bastante llenos (ya no tendremos sequia en varios años), me acerque a este lugar que no conocia, si el pueblo pero no la zona del castillo. Me ha gustado mucho la "habitación" natural donde esta alojado el cache. ENHORABUENA JUAN
