„Kartoffelsalat"
This cache is located in a very nice place and it is somehow difficult to reach.After you found it, you will know why and where its name came from.We did not want to make it too difficult, since we believe that you are on vacation, while hunting for that cache. We hid it during our last vacation in Brittany, on July, 29th, 2004.Be sure to bring a swimsuit (the beach here is fantastic) or wait for low tide !
1. station: N 48° 42,064; W 04° 03,349
Here you will be standing in front of a nice restaurant (see
picture), we recommend you go there after caching to have dinner.
We enjoyed it ! Just across the street from that restaurant, you
will see a bar-tabac. Count the number of letters of the name of
that bar. Assume this is "A". Now it is time to put on your
swimsuit.
2. station: N 48° ((A*4)+2),287, W 04° (A:2.5),235
After you have reached these coordinates, you will find yourself standing at a harbour near a sign (see picture), telling you what not to do. Count the number of letters on that sign and assume this is "B" Because of the thunderstorms in March 2008, the sign of stage 2 has been doubled by a second sign.Count here the letters and add 11 (eleven).Or look at the backside of the sign..
3. station: N 48° 42,((B*A)+11), W 04° 04,((B*A)+31)
These are the coordinates for the cache. They are pretty much
exact. You will find it being hidden behind a few stones under a
large rock. (see picture).
Please make sure that you carefully hide it again, because we
cannot maintain that cache since we live about 1100 km away from
here.
Start content: Diddl Notes, Keyring,Pepper and salt, Little toy animal, Seashells (what else), Logbook and pencil, do not remove
