Je vous propose une balade en bord de mer à Kerity.
Garez votre véhicule aux coordonnées ci-dessous sur le port de Kerity.
N 47°47.813 W 004° 21.371.
Longez la mer vers l’Ouest en direction du phare. La cache est aux coordonnées N 47°47.765 W 004.21.732. A marée haute l’accès peut être difficile par la cale. Ne pas passer par la propriété privée, mais poursuivre la route qui longe le moulin jusqu’à la rue de Runavalen N 47°47.834 W 004°21.755, puis à gauche, Hent dall Kervily et continuer par le sentier jusqu’à la mer. Bonne balade !

Park your vehicle in coordinates below on the port of Kerity.
N 47°47.813 W 004 ° 21.371.
Follow the sea westward in the direction of the lighthouse. The hiding place is at coordinates N 47°47.765 W 004.21.732. In high tide the access can be difficult for the hold. Do not cross by the private property, but pursue the road which goes along the mill up to the street of Runavalen N 47°47.834 W 004°21.755, then turn left, Hent dall Kervily and continue by the path up to the sea. Good stroll!

Le mémorial rappelle l’issue tragique d’un sauvetage le 23 mai 1925 qui fit 27 victimes dont 15 sauveteurs provenant des canots « Comte et Comtesse Foucher de Saint-Faron », de Kérity et « Léon Dufour », de Saint-Pierre-Penmarc’h venus au secours de bateaux de pêche pris dans une soudaine tempête.

The memorial reminds the tragic outcome of a rescue on May 23rd, 1925 which made 27 victims among whom 15 boaters resulting from boats " Count and Countess Foucher de Saint-Faron ", of Kerity and "Léon Dufour", of Saint-Pierre-Penmarc'h helped fishing boats taken in a sudden storm.

Vous pouvez continuer le chemin côtier jusqu’au phare d’Eckmuhl.
Au pied du phare, un musée comprenant un canot de sauvetage restauré, raconte l’histoire du sauvetage en mer dans cette région.

You can continue the coastal road up to the lighthouse of Eckmuhl.
At the feet of the lighthouse, a museum including a restored lifeboat, tells the history of the offshore rescue in this region.
