Le 3 juillet
1994, au village de Ty-Ar-Choen, en Plouyé, les allemands arrêtent
Pierre-Louis Ruelen, ouvrier granitier de 21 ans, du Huelgoat. Il
sera fusillé le lendemain ainsi que J. Volant et Eugène Berthou. On
ne retrouvera leurs corps qu’en avril 1946, dans
l’allée violette qui longe la rivière d’argent dans la
forêt du Huelgoat.

Today we went for the event caches in the forrest near Huelgoat. Nine years ago we took the same route and enjoyed this walk very much.
A few years later an 'Event' was born and some boxes were hidden on the most perfect places.
This one is one to remember. In july 1944 two French people were killed by the German army, that's a cache worth indeed!
Always remember those who fight for our freedom .....
The caches was spotted by dad and Maaike took it down.
After a 'goodie trade' it was hidden again.
The cache was found at 14.00 hours.
MPLC and the lesson in history in this esthounishing forrest!

On our vacation in Bretagne we went to the woods of Huelgoat. What a beautiful surrounding!
Besides the very nice woods,grottes and stones I liked the legendes too!
On this spot my son found the cache. He was hidden well but no problem to find! A real cache-location to hide!
