Dieser Cache enthält eine Botschaft von Eirik, dem Roten, die er auf seiner Reise gen Vester-Husby hinterlassen hat.
Die oben angegebenen Koordinaten weisen auf das Finale.
Am besten beginnt ihr eure Suche aber bei N56°15.824'/E 008°08.234'. Folgt dem mit dem gelben Pfeil gekennzeichneten Pfad in die Dünen. Es ist möglich das Finale zu erreichen ohne die ausgetretenen Pfade zu verlassen! Das Foto gibt einen Hinweis auf das Versteck des Caches. (GPS-Genauigkeit beim Verstecken: 5m)
Bitte denkt daran einen Stift für den Logbucheintrag mitzubringen und achtet darauf das ihr Brief und Logbuch wieder so verstaut, das auch der Nächste ohne Probleme daran kommt.
Trotz der Größe des Caches, ist dieser ungeeignet für Gegenstände.

This cache contains a note of Eirik, the Red, that he left during his journey to Vester-Husby. Unfortunately he wrote in german language. Nevertheless you can find the hiding place!
The coordinates above are pointing on the final.
The best start is at N56°15.824'/E 008°08.234'. Follow the path into the dunes which is signed with an yellow arrow. It is possible to reach the final without leaving the normal pathways! The picture gives you a hint about the hiding place of the cache. (GPS-accuracy when hiding the cache was: 5m)
Please remember to bring a pencil to sign the logbook. When putting back the letter and the logbook mind that it should possible to get them out for the next person! Despite of the size of the cache, it is not suitable for trading.

It's a pity, but it's true: The cache has disappeared. I was there on the 14th and, as already said, there's just a round hole in the sand (see photo). It's my first "photo logging", so I didn't know how to log properly. I have chosen "found it" to get it counted.

Jeg fandt den ikke, men der imod et hul i klitten med meget tydelig aftryk af en rund genstand. Efter at have set spoilerbilledet er jeg sikker på at cachen er væk.mimik

Schöner Ort für einen Cache, der außerdem von einer leibhaftigen Kreuzotter verteidigt wurde. Leider bedarf der Cache aber dringend der Wartung, da soviel Feuchtigkeit eingedrungen ist, dass man an das Logbuch und den berühmten Brief Eiriks des Roten so nicht mehr herankommt. Wir konnten auch nur noch einen weiteren Zettel im Cache versenken, um unseren Fund nachzuweisen. Vielleicht wäre ein Glas mit Schraubverschluss die bessere Lösung?

Al vroeg op pad voor deze cache. Heerlijk rustig op het strand en na een stevige klim de duinen in. Prachtig gebied met veel restanten uit de laatste wereldoorlog. Het was nog wel even zoeken naar de fles maar vijftien minuten later konden we onze naam op de brief van Erik de Viking bijschrijven...
Beautiful walk in the early morning. From the beach we climbed into the dunes and searched for about fifteen minutes... Then we could add our name at the Viking's paper! Thanks for a nice cache!
